History

The history of the four-star hotel dates back to the 18th century, when it was in the center of Włocławek that Mateusz Gładyszewski opened a large, brick tavern opposite the Franciscan monastery. Initially, there were stables, a barn and a granary next to the hotel. The one-storey building has evolved over time in a two-story building. The next owner of the building, Mr. Wojciech Jabłoński restored it but his daughter decided to sell it. In the hands of subsequent owners Wesołowscy, the object has undergone a number of renovations. In 1988. Hotel Polski (former name) regained his original form and was entered in the register of monuments.
